Mr. Phothisak PHEIRSAYVONGSAK, has a BSc in majoring of Civil Engineer in 1990, now studying the Master Degree (on line) in majoring of the Project Management, passed the other civil engineering short training courses, he strong on relevant solfware computer programs such as MS Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access, Auto CAD and Civil Land Development. He has experiences over 25 years working in Lao PDR, with both official government and private sectors. His experiences are included (but not limited to): survey & detailed engineering design for drainage & sewage treatment, flood control & river bank protection, water supply & sanitation, solid waste, roads, irrigation, and building. He further has experience on the overall civil & Infrastructural construction works. He have worked alternatively for the Consultants and the Contractors.
Mr. Phothisak has worked with extensive consultants and contractors alternatively, jointly with both varied international and local partners. His illustrated projects are as follows: (i) since the end of 1990, he commenced working as a position of topographic and hydrological Surveyor for the Updating of Hydrographic Atlas Project of the Lower Mekong River, from Lao-Mynmar border to Lao-Cambodia border, the said project granted by Finland’s Government through the Mekong River Committee (MRC). (ii) 1992-1993 worked as Survey Engineer for Lao-Thia Mekong Friendship Bridge Project No. 1, Vientiane Capital – Nongkai Province of Thailand, granted by Australian’s Government. (iii) June 1993-Nov 1994 worked as Site Engineer for Nam Ngum Irrigation Project, European Union Community’s grants. (iv) Dec 1994-Oct 1996 was assigned as the Assistant Site Manager for Nam Tan Perimeter Rehabilitation Project, in Sayabury Province, UNDP’s grant. (v) Nov 1996-June 1998 moved to work for Northern Provinces Water Supply and Sanitation Project, Sayaboury Province as the Project Site Manager, ADB’s loan with lowest interest. (vi) July 1998-Sep 2001 was employed by WABAG Company to work for the Luang Prabang Secondary Urban Developement Project, Phase II as the position of Assistant Project Manager, ADB’s grant and loan with lowest interest. (vii) Nov 2001-Jan 2005 was employed by Hifab International AB and IT Transport Ltd, England, assigned as the Resident Engineer/Project Manager Representative for Provincial Infrastructure Project (PIP), in Oudomxay and Phongsaly Provinces, WB’s grant and loan with lowest interest. (viii) Feb 2005-Jul 2010 with a position of Area Engineer for Civil & Infrastructural Works for the Nam Theun 2 Power Company Limited (NTPC). (ix) Aug 2010-Dec 2015 as a shareholder with Beyond PAP Consultants Co., Ltd, responsible for a position of Senior General Advisor. (x) Jan 2016-Present working for Greater Mekong Sub region: East-West Economic Corridor Towns Development Project (ADB’s grant and loan), assigned as the Deputy Detailed Engineering Design Manager.
